Spartans Look for Seven-Meet Winning Streak

San José, Calif. --- The #31 nationally-ranked San José State University women's swimming team goes for its seventh win in a row on Saturday, January 18, as they host Cal State East Bay. The meet begins at 12:00 p.m. (PT) at the Aquatic Center on the San José State campus.

The Spartans (6-2) moved into the #31 national ranking by collegeswimming.com and are on a six-meet winning streak. San Jose State defeated CSU Bakersfield on January 3, Air Force and the University of San Diego on January 4, and Incarnate Word and UC San Diego on January 5. The Spartans also are ranked seventh in collegeswimming.com's Mid-Major rankings as of January 15.

Cal State East Bay and the Spartans are meeting for the second time this season. San José State placed first in 10 out of 16 events, securing a 133-104 win against the Pioneers.
