College Station, Texas --- Senior Riley Spitser and sophomore Brenna Bushey posted NCAA provisional times to lead the San Jose State Spartans swimming and diving team on day three of the Mountain West Championships.
"This morning's session was arguably our best session performance at a major meet in program history. Tonight we had some very strong performances and were a little flat in other areas, but we'll be ready to go full force tomorrow morning," Spartans Head Coach Sage Hopkins said.
Posting San Jose State's best finish on Friday, Bushey clocked a time of 54.03 for a fifth place finish in the 100-yard butterfly finals.
