A Graduation Story - Degree From The Right School

Despite having two brothers play baseball at Fresno State, Mallory Bair made the right decision to come to San Jose State, play softball and recently received her degree in health science.

Her family is extremely proud of Mallory and her achievements of graduating and playing collegiate softball.

"I am really proud of myself because I am the first one to graduate out of my family.  On my mom's side of the family, I am the first one to graduate ever.  It is a big accomplishment for them and me."

Within her health science major, Bair took many interesting classes, but her favorite class was for her nutrition minor.

"I took two classes from Izzie Brown dealing with distorted eating and nutrition for sports.  The material she taught was fun to learn, and I never dreaded going to her class.  I don't think ever missed one of her classes."

Now that school is over, Bair is moving onto the next part of her life - finding a job.

"I want to go into the health field and possibly be a pharmaceutical representative.  I have an interview in early June, so I am pretty excited at the possibilities."
