47 Spartans Earn Mountain West Scholar-Athlete Honors

The 47 Spartan honorees helped the Mountain West set a new league record for conference scholar-athletes.

SJSU: Completed her four-year career as a Spartan in 2015...at the completion of her eligibility was the program's career leader in runs (164), ranked second in batting average (.376), hits (245), steals (67), stolen base attempts (79) and stolen base percentage (.848), third in on-base percentage (.444), fourth in total bases (293), sixth in walks (74), ninth in at bats (652) and slugging percentage (.431), and 10th in triples (11)...on the single-season list was first in runs (58 in 2015), second (26 in 2012) and fifth (20 in 2013) in stolen bases, second (30 in 2012) and fifth (23 in 2013) and stolen base attempts, fourth in hits (78 in 2015), fourth (.419 in 2015) and ninth (.366 in 2012) in batting average and fourth (.481 in 2015) and ninth (.447 in 2012) in on-base percentage.
