20 Janice Roux

SJSU: In her first season at San Jose State.

SAINT MARY’S COLLEGE: Janice Roux played at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, Calif. last season. She was named the “Most Improved Player.” In 16 games including nine starts she scored one goal and had one assist. Her goal was a game-winning goal at Fresno State and her assist was in a 1-1 tie at Cal Poly.

HIGH SCHOOL: Roux graduated from Woodcreek High School in Roseville, Calif. in 2000. She lettered in soccer three years. She was the team’s “Most Valuable Player” and was a first-team all-conference pick her sophomore and junior seasons.

PERSONAL: Janice Lynn Roux was born on March 15, 1982, in Fremont, Calif. Her parents are Gary and Nattie Roux. She has two brothers, David (21) and Kevin (18). She is majoring in graphic design. Her favorite activities include break dancing, playing and composing music, and drawing.
