1 Eryn Meyer

SJSU: In her second season at San Jose State. Eryn Meyer played in 21 games and started 19 last year. She allowed 32 goals (1.32 GAA) and had 91 saves. She had two shutouts, against Portland State and UTEP, and combined on a shutout of Oregon State. She was named to the all-tournament team at the Western Athletic Conference tournament.

PORTLAND STATE: Meyer played at Portland State in 1999. In 12 matches (all starts), she recorded 64 saves while allowing 23 goals. She also had one shutout. Meyer was named the Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 14 after allowing one goal in a 2-1 overtime win at Eastern Washington.

HIGH SCHOOL: Meyer was a four-year letterwinner in soccer at Parkrose High School in Portland. She was named to the all-league team and was the team's Most Valuable Player all four years. She was an all-state selection her junior and senior seasons. She also played softball two seasons.

PERSONAL: Eryn Nicole Meyer was born on Dec. 6, 1979, in Portland, Ore. Her parents are Marshall and Dana Meyer. She has a sister, Allison (15). She is majoring in child development. Her favorite activities include working crossword puzzles.
