26 Kerry Blaschke

SJSU: In her first season at San Jose State.

Kerry Blaschke played two seasons at De Anza College in Cupertino, Calif. As a sophomore she tallied 53 points on 21 goals and 11 assists. She was named the Central Coast Conference’s “Most Valuable Player” and received all-region and all-state honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Blashke played soccer for three years and was a member of the track and field team for four years at Cupertino (Calif.) High School. In soccer, she was named to the all-league team all three years and was an all-Central Coast Section pick. She scored 24 goals in her senior season and had 55 career goals. In track she was named to the all-conference team all four years and received all-state honors two years.

PERSONAL: Kerry Kathleen Blaschke was born on Feb. 20, 1981, in Mountain View, Calif. Her parents are Jim and Kathy Blaschke. She has a brother, Sean (22). She is majoring in communications with a minor in advertising. Along with soccer, she enjoys working out and hanging out with family and friends.
