HURTADO NETS GAME-WINNERS IN SUCCESSIVE MATCHES
San José State freshman Gabriella Hurtado has scored the game-winning goal in each of the last two victories coming against Cal Poly and Saint Mary’s. Her goal against Cal Poly was the first of her Spartan career and the first ever for the women’s team at the new Spartan Soccer Complex. The goal against Saint Mary’s came off of a rebound from her own shot, which was sent away by the Gaels keeper, but right to the foot of Hurtado who slid in the match’s only tally in the sixth minute.

A LOOK AHEAD
This weekend's matches mark the end of big homestand that lasted nearly the entire month of September. The following week SJSU is at San Diego State (10/6) and at New Mexico (Oct. 8). San José State’s next home game will be played on Friday, Oct. 13 against Nevada.
