Women's Soccer Loses to California 5-1

Moraga, Calif.—The San Jose State women’s soccer team fell to California 5-1 Sunday afternoon at the Saint Mary’s Classic in Moraga.

The Spartans’ lone goal of the day came at the 31:15 mark on an unassisted goal by Shannon Leslie. She led the team with two shots. SJSU had seven shots, four on goal for the match. Goalie Erin Lavey made five saves in the loss.

San Jose State falls to 1-5 on the season and plays at Pacific next Sunday.
