Women's Soccer Travels To UC Davis; Hosts Seattle This Week

San Jose, Calif. - After two close matches last weekend with nationally ranked opponents, #22 Santa Clara and #17 California, the San Jose State University women’s soccer team travels to Davis, Calif. on Friday, August 29, to take on the Aggies of UC Davis in a non-conference match before hosting the Redhawks of Seattle University on Sunday, August 31, at 1:00 p.m. in Spartan Stadium.

The Aggies (1-1-0) fell to the Saint Mary’s Gaels, 2-1, on Friday, August 22, in Moraga, Calif. On Sunday, August 24, the Aggies defeated San Jose State's Western Athletic Conference foe Fresno State, 3-2, in Fresno. The Aggies are led by Gabina Bohlman who has notched a goal and an assist in two games this year.

The Redhawks (1-1-0) won their season opener, 2-1, against Weber State in Ogden, Utah on Friday, August 22. In their second match of the season, they fell to Utah State of the Western Athletic Conference, 2-1, in Logan. Seattle is led by Jamie Coe with two goals.
