Women's Soccer Rivals Unite In Spartan Nation

Aug. 4, 2017

After four years of competing as bitter rivals on the Bay Area's peninsula Lauola Amanoni and Natasha Harris have united as Spartans on the San José State women's soccer team.
They didn't know each other well, but the Mountain View High School star forward Harris always knew a tough match was ahead when Amanoni, a staunch defender for Palo Alto High School would stand between her and the goal.
Now the two have become closer than ever, and are in fact roommates as they begin their careers as freshmen on the SJSU women's soccer team.
Stay tuned to SJSUSpartans.com and follow the women's soccer program on social media to meet the rest of the new Spartans in the days leading up to the first match oon August 18.

Tickets for San José State home games will be available for purchase at the entrance gate. Admission for adults 18 and above costs $8 and youth ages 17-2 are just $5, while infants two and under are free. Fans can also visit the Spartan Ticket Office web page to buy tickets.
