San Jose, Calif. - A last-minute goal by the Fresno State Bulldogs spoiled Senior Night for the San José State University women's soccer team, a 1-0 Mountain West loss in the Spartans' final match of 2013 on Friday, November 1.

With 58 seconds left in regulation, Bulldog Jaycee Bingham sent the ball from the farside five-yard line to Shonice Myers, sitting at Zoe Makrigiannis' farside post. Her quick shot sailed past Makrigiannis for the final 1-0 score.

Makrigiannis made several big stops for the Spartans (3-13-1, 2-6-1 MW). In the 59th minute, Makrigiannis (2-8-1) made a diving save on Lauren Lindstrom after Bingham took a corner kick that sailed to Lindstrom at the farside post. Makrigiannis finished the match with three saves.

For Fresno State (10-7-2, 7-2-1 MW), Katie Devault (8-6-1) tallied two saves.

The Bulldogs outshot San José State by an 11-7 margin. Lupita Estrada led the Spartans with two shots.
