Women's Soccer Starts 2015 Strong With 3-0 Victory At Lamar

Samantha Orodpour got the scoring started Friday with her first-career goal as a Spartan in the 14th minute.

AT SJSU: Completed her first season with the Spartans in 2015 as a junior college transfer.

2015: Competed in 21 matches and made 20 starts … Scored in the season-opening win at Lamar (8/21) … Scored and registered an assist in the 2-0 win at Colorado State (9/27) … Assisted the game-winning goal on the road at New Mexico (10/16) … Put eight of 16 shots on goal for the year … Finished with six points.

MOUNT SAN ANTONIO COLLEGE: A 2014 All South Coast Conference honoree … Competed in 22 matches, making 21 starts in 2014 … Scored six goals with five coming in conference play … Recorded two game-winners.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters in soccer at Ayala High School in Chino Hills, Calif. … Was the team captain and offensive MVP her senior year … A 2012 All-Palomares League selection.
