Women's Soccer Hits The Pitch For First Practices Of 2017

The Spartan women's soccer team is officially back in action and finished up the first day of practice on Wednesday.

AT SJSU: Competing as a sophomore in 2018 ... A 2017 Academic All-Mountain West honoree.

2017: Played in 20 matches and made 17 starts as a true freshman … Logged 1,419 minutes playing a variety of positions ranging from up top to the back line … Attempted 17 shots, putting six of them on goal.

HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Mountain View (Calif.) High School where she enjoyed four consecutive Santa Clara Valley Athletic League (SCVAL) - De Anza championships … Individual career accomplishments include three-time all-league choice and SCVAL and Central Coast Section (CCS) MVP … The leading goal scorer (18) on the 2016-17 team which finished 19-1-3, won the CCS Open Division Championship, advanced to the CIF State Championship game and ended the year ranked eighth in the country and fourth in the state … Central Coast Section (CCS) player of the year as a junior.
