San Jose, Calif.--Stephanie Relova, a three-time Level 10 regional qualifier from Danville, Calif., has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to compete for the San José State University women's gymnastics team starting with the 2016 season, as announced by head coach Wayne Wright.
Relova is a Level 10 gymnast at Edge Gymnastics in Dublin, Calif., and attends San Ramon Valley High School. She tied for second on the beam and was third on the floor, fourth on the bars and fifth in the all-around at the 2015 Level 10 state championships. She tied for second on beam at the 2013 Level 10 state championships. In 2012, Relova won the Level 9 all-around state championship, the Level 9 floor title at regionals and qualified for the Level 9 Western Championships. During the 2015 season, she won the all-around at the Great West Gym Fest and the bars title at the Black Tie meet.
"Stephanie is a strong competitor on beam and floor, and we look forward to her bringing her talent to San José State for the 2016 season," said Wright.
Relova joins Kaprece Nadonza, Ellie Pascoe-Long and Josalyn Ray as members of the 2015 Spartan women's gymnastics signing class.
