San Jose-Dannon Gregory from Phoenix, Ariz., and Alyssa Montalban from Stockton, Calif., have signed a National Letter-of-Intent to compete for the San Jose State women's gymnastics program beginning with the 2012 season as announce by Spartan head coach Wayne Wright.
Gregory competes for the Phoenix Gymnastics Academy. A Level 10 gymnast, she was ninth in the all-around at the 2011 Region 1 Championships and also finished seventh on the bars and eighth on the vault and floor. Gregory was second in the all-around and on the beam at the 2011 Arizona State Championships. She was third on the floor, vault and bars. In other meets this year, Gregory finished second in the all-around at the Chinese New Year meet. At the Malibu Coast Challenge, she was third in the all-around, vault and beam and was second on the floor.
Montalban competes for Byers Gymnastics in Elk Grove, Calif. She won 2011 Level 10 NorCal Vault Championship and competed at the 2011 Region 1 Championships where she was 11th on vault. During the 2011 season, she won the vault title at the Seattle Open, Delta Classic and Paradise meets, the beam title at the Seattle Open and the all-around at the Delta Classic. In 2010, Montalban was the Level 9 regional co-champion on vault and placed second the all-around.

Gregory and Montalban join Cami Guyer of Fall City Wash., and Kiley Field from San Jose, as the signing class for this year.
