Julia Greer Wins Third-Straight MPSF Weekly Honor

San Jose, Calif. - San José State University women's gymnastics senior Julia Greer captured MPSF Specialist of the Week honors for the fifth time this season, a conference-best, for her performance in the Spartans' season finale against Sacramento State on March 14.

Greer won her fourth dual beam and floor titles in the Spartans' season finale against Sacramento State. She earned a career-high 9.925 on floor and a 9.850 on beam. Her 9.925 was the highest score earned by an MPSF gymnast this season. She also added a 9.650 on vault.

Greer's scores helped lead San José State to a season-high 195.800, the third-highest mark in program history, a feat accomplished three times this season, and the fifth-highest team total in the MPSF. The Spartans' 49.350 was the third-highest in program and fifth-highest in MPSF history.

San José State travels to the MPSF Championships, hosted by UC Davis, on Saturday, March 22 at 6:00 p.m. (PT).
