The San José State women's gymnastics team closes out the home portion of the 2015 schedule this Sunday afternoon, March 8, with a quadrangular meet inside The Event Center beginning at 2 p.m.
The Spartans host Sacramento State, Seattle Pacific and Utah Sate. The Spartans face the Hornets for the third time this season, the first of three straight meets with Seattle Pacific and the only meeting with Utah State.
All seniors competing on Sunday from the four teams will be honored after the meet, with a special presentation for San Jose State seniors Kiley Field, Cami Guyer, Gabrielle Kambur and Alyssa Montalban.
Sunday's meet is also designated as the San José State gymnastics alumni meet. All former Spartan gymnasts and coaches are encouraged to attend the meet. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to walk out with the team during introductions and will be honored after the first rotation.
San José State is coming off its best meet of the season this past Sunday. The team scored a season-best 195.150 at the Masters Classic. The vault team scored a 49.000, the third time in school history that a vault team has scored a 49.000 or better. The bars team also scored a 49.000, the seventh-highest score in school history.
