Women's Golf At Stanford Intercollegiate Hosted by Condoleezza Rice

The San José State women’s golf team concludes the fall portion of the schedule at the Stanford Intercollegiate hosted by Condoleezza Rice this Friday through Sunday at the Stanford Golf Course.

The 16-team field will play 18 holes each day, teeing off from holes 1 and 10.  The Spartans open the tournament off of hole #1 on Friday starting at 10 a.m.  Tee times for Saturday and Sunday will be determined after each round.

Teams competing at this year’s tournament include UCLA, USC, Stanford, Washington, Pepperdine, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Northwestern, Auburn, California, Oregon, Georgia, UC Davis, Oregon State and Washington State.

San José State’s lineup includes Megan Osland, Rachelle Reali, Alexandra Kristofersson, My Leander and Regan De Guzman.

The Spartans have won this tournament twice – 1995 and 1996.   Two players also won the individual title – Vibeke Stensrud in 1995 and Janice Moodie in 1996.  Last year, the team finished 13th among 17 teams.
