Women's Golf Moves Into Top 10 At Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational

Tacoma, Wash.-After a rough first round Monday at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, the San Jose State women's golf team cut nine strokes off its team score on Tuesday and currently sits in 10th place heading into the final round at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club.

Katrina Delen-Briones shot the Spartans lowest score of the day, 74, after making birdies on holes 1, 2, 16 and 17.  Jennifer Brumbaugh also made four birdies (1, 3, 9, 14) and shot a 75 on Monday.  Dorothy Schwartz shot a 77 on Tuesday and made birdies on holes 1 and 18.  Madeleine Ziegert and Tiffany Nichols each shot a 78 to round out the Spartan scoring on Tuesday.

Final round action begins Wednesday morning at 8 a.m., with the Spartans starting at 8:45 a.m., off of the 10th tee.
