Women's Golf 10th After Two Rounds Of Golfweek Conference Challenge

Wolcott, Colo.-Jody Ho had the highlight of the day for the San Jose State women's golf team with an eagle on the par 4, 12th hole.  The Spartans finished the day in 10th place after shooting a 310 in the second round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge at the Red Sky Golf Club in Wolcott, Colo.

Ho finished the day with a 78 for the team's third-best score of the day.  She also made a birdie on the 16th hole, a par 4 hole.

Jennifer Brumbaugh led the Spartans with a 76 on Monday.  She made three birdies in the first seven holes of the day, but two double bogeys on the 11th and 15th holes put her four-over par for the day.

Madeline Ziegert shot a 77 with 13 pars in her round.  Tiffany Nichols, San Jose State's top golfer after the first round, shot a 79 on Monday and is now tied for 22nd individually.  Katrina Delen-Briones rounded out the scoring with an 83.

The final round begins at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday with a shotgun start.  San Jose State will be paired with Chattanooga and Texas A&M.
