The San Jose State women's golf team heads back to Colorado this week for the Golfweek Conference Challenge at the Red Sky Golf Club in Wolcott, Colo.
The 18 teams will play 18 holes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with a shotgun start on Wednesday. The course will play at par 72 at 6,262 yards.
Teams participating include Ball State, Boston College, Central Arkansas, Denver, East Tennessee State, Florida International, Harvard, Illinois State, Indiana, James Madison, Morehead State, Northern Arizona, Pepperdine, SMU, TCU, Arkansas-Little Rock, UC Davis and the Spartans.
"We need to bounce back from our showing at the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic," said Spartan head coach John Dormann. "We have a good understanding of what it takes to be successful at Red Sky Golf Club. It is a different style of golf at 9,000-feet.
"I am excited to have three freshmen in lineup and look forward to seeing what they can do. I hope that they add depth to our lineup for this season."
