Women's Golf At Ron Moore Intercollegiate

After a fourth-place showing two weeks ago, the San Jose State women's golf team heads back to Colorado this week for the Ron Moore Invitational hosted by the University of Denver, from Monday, September 22 through Wednesday, September 24.

The 54-hole tournament will be played at the Highlands Ranch Golf Club with 18 holes played each day.  The par-72 course is 6,605 yards long for the 13 teams and individuals competing.  Live stats for the tournament can be found at www.golfstat.com and a link to that site is available on www.sjsuspartans.com by going to the Live Stats section.

The Spartan squad features returning Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year Erica Moston, Cristina Corpus, Katrina Delen-Briones, Shraddhanjali Singh and Madeleine Ziegert.  Kanika Minocha is also competing at the tournament as an individual.

At last year's Ron Moore Invitational, the Spartans finished fourth as team.  Moston finished third at 219, while Corpus was seventh with a 221.
