Women's Golf Play Suspended In Second Round

Fort Collins, Colo.—The San José State women’s golf team’s second round was suspended for the second time on Monday after storms approached the Colonel Wollenberg’s Ptarmigan Ram Classic in Fort Collins.

The Spartans finished the first round in 16th-place after shooting a 317.  Rachelle Reali and My Leander each shot a 77 to lead the team. Alex Kristofersson followed with a 78, then Megan Osland at 85 and Kathleen Rojas at 86.

San José State had moved up the standings in the second round and currently are in 12th place.  Second round action will begin Tuesday morning around 8:30 a.m. MDT.  Teams will finish the second round and continue on with third round action.
