Women's Golf Looks For Fifth Consecutive WAC Title

San Jose—The four-time defending Western Athletic Conference champion San Jose State women’s golf team begins play at the 2013 WAC Championships, Monday-Wednesday, April 22-24, at the Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz.

The Spartans begin play on Monday at 8:50 a.m. PDT, alongside UTSA and Texas State.  Tee times on Tuesday and Wednesday begin at 7:30 a.m. PDT, and pairings for the second and third days will be determined by play.

San Jose State’s lineup will be Regan De Guzman, Megan Osland, Jennifer Brumbaugh, Rachelle Reali and Kathleen Rojas.

The Spartans won the 2012 title by 13 shots over Idaho.  Brumbaugh finished third, while Rojas tied for fifth.  San Jose State has won six WAC women’s golf titles, the second-most in WAC history, and just one behind Tulsa who won seven.
