The San Jose State women’s golf team plays at the Fresno State Lexus Classic next Monday and Tuesday, April 15 and 16 at the Copper River Country Club in Fresno.
San Jose State is one of 15 teams competing over the two days – Cal Poly, CS Fullerton, Colorado State, Fresno State, Idaho, Long Beach State, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon State, Sacramento State, Tulsa, UC Irvine, UC Riverside and Wyoming.
The Spartan lineup remains the same for the third consecutive tournament – Regan De Guzman, Megan Osland, Jennifer Brumbaugh, Rachelle Reali and Kathleen Rojas. The lineup finished second at the Mountain View Collegiate and tied for seventh at the Annuenue Spring Break Classic.
Individually, De Guzman is ranked 44th nationally in the Golfstat rankings, while Osland is currently 243rd nationally. De Guzman finished ninth at the last tournament with a one-under 215. Osland was ninth at the Cal Classic at the end of February.
The teams will plays 36 holes on Monday with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Tuesday, teams begin final round play with tee times beginning at 7 a.m. Live scoring is available at www.golfstat.com.
