Women's Golf At PING/ASU Invitational

The San Jose State women’s golf team plays this weekend at the 2010 PING/ASU Invitational at the ASU Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz.

The 17-team tournament will be played on the same course that hosted the NCAA West Regional last May. The course will play at 6,230 yards and par 72. The tournament field features seven of the top-10 teams in the country - #1 UCLA, #3 Arizona State, #5 Alabama, #6 USC, #7 Arizona, #8 Purdue and #9 Pepperdine.

The Spartans will tee off at 8 a.m. Friday morning on the first hole to start the first round. The team will play 18 holes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with tee times on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. and on Sunday starting at 7:30 a.m.

The lineup for this tournament includes Madeleine Ziegert, Cristina Corpus, Katrina Delen-Briones, Jody Ho and Shraddhanjali Singh.
