Women's Golf Off To Tucson

San Jose State University returns to action, Saturday, March 29, for the first two rounds of the MountainView Collegiate women's golf tournament in Tucson, Ariz.

The Spartans have been consistent all season with six top-five finishes including a pair of seconds at the Qdoba Invitational in Miami, Fla., and the Spartan Invitational earlier in the month.

The 54-hole tournament takes place at the par 72, 6,126-yard Mountain View Golf Course with 36 holes on March 29 and 18 holes on March 30. Sixteen teams including San Jose State are entered in the tournament.

Head coach John Dormann is expected to field a lineup of Cristina Corpus, Kanika Minocha, Katrina Delen-Briones, Kimberly Punyasavatsut and Erica Moston. Corpus was second and Minocha and Punyasavatsut had their best individual finishes in a major college tournament at the Spartan Invitational.

There is no charge for admission.
