Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational Starts The Week

The San Jose State women's golf team hosts the 2012 Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational this Monday and Tuesday, March 5 and 6, at the Almaden Golf and Country Club in San Jose.

The two-day tournament features 12 teams including four top-30 teams according to the latest Golfstat rankings released on February 29 - #13 Washington, #21 Oregon, #23 California and #25 UC Davis 

California is the three-time defending champion after winning the title in 2008, 2010 and 2011 (2009 was rained out.)

The tournament begins Monday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start with the second round beginning at the end of the first.  All players will play 36 holes on the first day.  Tuesday's round is set for an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.  Any changes to the schedule will be posted on www.sjsuspartans.com.

Admission to the tournament is free.
