Women's Golf At Aztec Invitational

After finishing no lower than fourth-place in the fall, the San Jose State women’s golf team looks to continues its success this spring season at the Aztec Invitational this Sunday-Tuesday, February 15-17.

San Jose State is one of 18 teams competing in the tournament at the Salt Creek Golf Course in Chula Vista.  The three-day tournament features 18 holes each day with tee times beginning at 7 a.m. on Sunday and Monday and an 8 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday.

Competing for the Spartans are Erica Moston, Madeleine Ziegert, Cristina Corpus, Katrina Delen-Briones and Shraddhanjali Singh.  Jody Ho will also compete as an individual at the invitational.

“This is a good tournament to start out the spring season,” said San Jose State head coach John Dormann.  “We are looking to continue and build upon our successes in the fall.  I know the ladies are excited to play against someone other than their own teammates.”
