Las Vegas, Nev. – Senior Dezz Ramos, who’s 26.1 points per game average in conference play is the second highest in Mountain West history, is an All-Mountain West honoree for the second time in as many years.
In 18 Mountain West contests, Ramos recorded 14 20+-point games, had eight 30+-point games and a 40-point game, more than any other player this season. Her two 10+- assist games tied for the most in conference play this year.
In addition to leading the league in scoring, she finished the regular season ranked first in three-pointers per game (3.2), second in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.7:1), fourth in assists (5.1/g) and free throw percentage (.861), was ninth in steals (1.4/g) and 11th in three-point field goal percentage (.358).
Her 26.1 points per game are 9.5 points more than the second leading scorer in the league.
Ramos earned Mountain West Newcomer of the Year and All-Mountain West last season.
