Ladd Earns All-Mountain West Recognition

Las Vegas, Nev. – Senior guard Myzhanique Ladd, who led the Spartans at 13.8 points per game, was named a 2018 honorable mention All-Mountain West performer on Monday.

The honor was voted upon by the 11 head coaches in the league and is based on play from the 18-game conference schedule.

In addition to being the 12th leading scorer during league play, the native of Seattle, Wash., was the fifth leading rebounder at 6.9 boards per contest and had three double doubles.

Ladd was the seventh leading offensive rebounder (2.4/g), the 12th best defensive rebounder (4.5/g) and played 32.8 minutes per game, 14th in the league.

She was named MW Player of the Week on January 8 for in part scoring a career-high 27 points in the Spartans 95-86 victory over New Mexico.

Last Tuesday, at Utah State, she became the 17th player in program history to score 1,000 points in her career and will complete her eligibility in the top-25 of 17 of the program’s career statistical categories.
