Men's cross country finish fifth at the Santa Clara Invitational

Sunnyvale, Calif.----The San Jose State men's cross country team finished fifth out of five teams at the Santa Clara Invitational held on October 18.

The Spartans finished with a team score of 91. Santa Clara won the race with 26 points, while San Francisco finished second with 70 points in the five mile race.

Brian Hilberg was the top finisher for the Spartans placing 13th with a 26:49 time. Michael Helms, was first with a 25:27 clocking.

The Spartans return to action next month, November 1, at the WAC Championships in San Bruno, Calif.
