The Spartans were led by Chris Hart’s 65th place finish. His time of 26:14.00 was his second-best career 8K time, finishing seven seconds behind his career mark he previously set at the Pepperdine Invitational earlier this season.
Luke Galvan and Sean Dundon rounded out the top-three Spartan finishers with 76th and 78th place-finishes. Galvan’s time of 26:21.00 set a new personal-best for the highly-touted freshmen, while Dundon’s 26:23.00 was his second-best career 8K time.
The Spartan men took 13th in the 17-team race. In preparation for the WAC Championship, the Spartan men faced two opponents they will run against in two weeks. Boise State took eighth place overall, while the Aggies of New Mexico State finished four spots behind the SJSU in 17th place.
