The San Jose State men's cross country team gets back into action on October 1 at the 37th Willamette Invitational in Salem, Ore.
173 individuals making up 14 teams including: Cal Baptist, Central Washington, Chico State, Lewis and Clark College, Linfield College, Northwest Nazarene, Pacific Lutheran, University of Portland, Puget Sound, Seattle Pacific UC Santa Cruz, Whitman College, Whitworth University and host Willamette University.
The Spartans are coming off of a fourth place finish out of 11 teams at the UC Riverside Invitational on September 17.
Freshman Mueen Ghoury has been San Jose State's top finisher in each of the first two races this season. He was first place at the Battle of the Bay and then 14th at the UC Riverside Invitational.
The men's 8K race at the Willamette Invitational will begin at 9:30 a.m. PST.
