San Jose, Calif. - The San José State University women’s and men's cross country teams opens the 2017 season Saturday morning, September 2, in Golden Gate Park at the 25th USF Cross Country Invitational, an event in which the program has improved its team finishes in each of the last four seasons.
Fifth-year head coach Brad Wick is bringing teams of six-men and seven-women, who will toe the line for the first time this season. The gun will go off for the women’s race, three laps over the 2k course, at 10:00 a.m. The men start at 10:45 a.m. and run four laps over the same course.
