Men's cross country runners take top-three places at AAUW Wildflower 10k run

Morgan Hill, Calif.----- San Jose State University cross country runners Jose Burrola-Diaz, Sean Dundun and Gordie Throne finished one-two-three at the 23rd annual AAUW (American Association of University Women) Wildflower 10k run.

Burrola-Diaz, a senior-to-be, posted a time of 33:49.5, more than two minutes ahead of Dundun’s clocking of 35:50.2. Throne, heading into his sophomore season, was third at 36:00.2. Dundun’s second-place finish was his second top-10 placing in the last three weeks of spring open course running.

Only six other male entries had a time less than 40:00.0.
