Live On-Line Audio For Men's Soccer Against Santa Clara

San Jose, Calif. - On Sunday night, September 27, for the first time in San Jose State University soccer history, will provide audio coverage live from Spartan Stadium, free of charge, of the men's team's (2-6) non-conference match against South Bay foe Santa Clara University (2-4-1). Former KSJS (90.5 FM) sports director and current Spartan Athletics sports information assistant Shawn Murphy calls the play-by-play, with Harvey Rañola providing color commentary. Air time for the debut against the Broncos is slated for 6:45 p.m.

The contest will mark the first of several select Gold Zone broadcasts during the remainder of the 2009 men's soccer season, tentatively scheduled to include home dates against Mountain Pacific Sports Federation opponents Denver (October 16), Air Force (October 18) and New Mexico (November 1).
