4 Gonzalo Guerra

SJSU: In his second season at San Jose State. Gonzala Guerra started all 22 games last season. He had an assist in a 1-0 overtime win over Air Force on Oct. 29, 2000. He received the “Coaches Award” at the end of the season.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Gonzalo Guerra played two years at Caada College in Redwood City, Calif. He was the team’s “Most Valuable Player” and was an all-conference and all-state selection both seasons, and was named to the all-Far West team as a sophomore. He led the team in scoring his sophomore season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Guerra attended Menlo-Atherton HS in Atherton, Calif. He graduated in 1997. He was named the “Most Valuable Player” on the soccer team his sophomore, junior and senior seasons, and was an all-league selection all four years.

PERSONAL: Born Gonzalo Guerra on Dec. 10, 1978. His parents are Vidal and Fidela Guerra. His has two brothers, Oscar (25) and Rogelio (19), and a sister, Irene (15). He is majoring in sociology. He enjoys dancing and barbequing.
