11 Tony Chang

SJSU: In his third season at San Jose State. Tony Chang started all 22 games for the Spartans in 2000. He scored the game winning goal and had an assist on Sept. 17 vs. CS Sacramento, and assisted on goals against CS San Bernardino on Sept. 1 and CS Sacramento on Oct. 19. Chang played in four games during the 1999 season and was not credited with any offensive statistics. He redshirted the 1998 season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Chang lettered twice in soccer and once in track and field at Prospect High School in Saratoga, Calif. He scored 15 goals and added 9 assists in his only soccer season. He was a first-team all-league pick and the league’s “Most Valuable Player”, and was a second-team All-Central Coast Section pick as a senior. He also was a member of the track and field team.

PERSONAL: Tony D. Chang was born on Jan. 28, 1980, in Seoul, South Korea. His dad is Steve Chang. He is majoring in advertising. In addition to soccer, he enjoys football, basketball, swimming, fishing and camping.
