After playing four consecutive road matches, the San José State University men's soccer team return home on Friday, September 23, against UC Riverside and Sunday, September 25, against Loyola Marymount.
The Spartans will look to snap their four-game losing streak on Friday night under the lights at CEFCU Stadium when the 'juggle-a-thon' promotion will be held. Read more about the promotion here.

The Spartans have played five of their first six games on the road, going 0-4-1... Jeremy Romero leads the team with two goals, scoring a goal in each of the last two games... `JUGGLE-A-THON' AT CEFCU STADIUM:
The San José State University men's soccer team welcomes soccer jugglers of all ages and skills on Friday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. (PT), when the Spartans take on UC Riverside in a non-conference match under the CEFCU Stadium lights. Participants can look forward to displaying their soccer juggling skills on the CEFCU Stadium field at halftime with hundreds of other jugglers.
All participants must bring their own ball.
The west entrance on the 7th street gate will open at 5:30 p.m., with the west side ticket booth opening 30 minutes earlier at 5:00 p.m., on Friday, September 23rd.
While the match against UC Riverside will be held at CEFCU Stadium, the match against Loyola Marymount University (LMU) on Sunday, September 25, will be played at the SJSU Football Practice Facility. Kickoff for the LMU game is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. PT.
SERIES HISTORY WITH UC RIVERSIDE:
San José State and UC Riverside are tied, 4-4-1, in the all-time series, dating back to 2001. The Spartans have won all three home matches in 2001 (W, 3-0), 2005 (W, 2-0) and 2010 (W, 3-2).
SERIES HISTORY WITH LOYOLA MARYMOUNT:
San José State leads the all-time series against LMU, 9-4-1, dating back to 1983. The longest win streak for either team belongs to SJSU, winning the first five contests in 1983 (twice), 1987, 1993 and 1994. The Spartans have won three of the four home games, including the last one played in 2010 (W, 2-1).
HAPPY TO BE BACK HOME:
San José State return home after playing four consecutive matches on the road, the longest regular season road stretch it has played since 2008 when they played five in a row. Under third-year head coach Simon Tobin, the Spartans are 9-6-2 in home contests, including 1-0-0 this season.
TREND OF FALLING BEHIND:
In each of the last five games, the Spartans have allowed the opponent to score the first goal, going 1-4 in the span, winning against Pacific.
PLAYER OF THE MATCH:
Freshman Suliman Khorami was tabbed `Player of the Match' by Tobin for his efforts against Sacramento State in the Spartans' last game. Khorami assisted in SJSU's first goal of the game by Jeremy Romero and his potential game tying goal hit the post with the Spartans down 3-2.
