This week the San José State men's soccer team looks to pick up its first win of the year when they play the Santa Clara Broncos in Spartan Stadium and then travel to Corvallis, Ore. to face the Oregon State Beavers.

MEN'S SOCCER TICKETS
Tickets for all San Jose State men's soccer home games are free for all SJSU students, faculty and staff with a valid ID.  Adult tickets are $5.00, $2.00 for youth (12 and under) and any child wearing a jersey gets in for free.

Groups of 20 or more can buy discounted tickets at $3.00 per person.  The ticket office opens one hour prior to kick-off at Spartan Stadium or can be purchased by calling San José State Athletics Ticket Office at 408-924-SJTX (7589).
    
SCOUTING SANTA CLARA
The Broncos enter the week with a 1-4-0 record this season. They split their two games last week, falling 1-0 at #9 New Mexico (9/13) before picking up their first win of the year, 2-0, over Central Arkansas (9/15).

In last year's meeting, the Spartans earned a 5-3 decision in a match in the Bronocs' Buck Shaw Stadium.

The side has gotten single goals from their leading shot producer Carlos Montes (1G, 8 shots), as well as, Keigo Kameya and Parker Holland.

Kendall McIntosh has played all 463:07 minutes of the team's five matches and has a 1-4-0 record.  He has a 1.55 GAA and .692 save %.

Cameron Rast is in his 12th season leading the Santa Clara program.  He had a 125-64-40 career record entering this season.

SCOUTING OREGON STATE
The Beavers are 5-1-0 entering this week's play.  They won twice last week 2-1 over Seattle U (9/13) and 2-0 over Air Force (9/15).  Oregon State plays at Portland (9/19) prior to hosting the Spartans.  

The Beavers attack is led by Khiry Shelton (4G, 1A).  Josh Smith and Daniel Van Vleet have each found the back of the goal twice this year.  Borce Atanasov and Bjorn Sanberg have assisted on three goals each and lead the side in that
category.

Matt Bersano has seen all the action in goal for Oregon State this year.   In 549:47 of action, his GAA is 0.49 and he has a .909 save %.  

Steve Simmons is in his fifth season leading the Beavers program.  In 15 years as a head coach he had a 149-121-22 record entering this season.
