Men's soccer drops fourth straight; 2-1 to USF

Santa Clara, Calif. (Sept. 18) ----Aaron Chandler scored two first half goals as USF posted a 2-1 victory over San Jose State University on the final day of the adidas Classic.

Chandler got started quickly taking a pass from Luke Holmes and breaking in behind the Spartan defense and scoring with a low hard shot into the lower right corner at the 16:07 mark.

It was a similar situation at 24:26 when Adam Bergman passed the ball to Holmes who found Chandler breaking in on the left. Chandler blasted the ball into the lower right corner for his fourth goal of the tournament and sixth of the season.

San Jose State (1-5) pulled to within a goal when Aaron Perego tallied on a loose ball in the box at 61:58. The loss was the fourth in a row for the Spartans.

USF (5-1) outshot San Jose State, 8-4.
