Men's Soccer Ends Exhibition Season

The San Jose State men’s soccer team concluded its exhibition season on Wednesday, August 20, as the team lost to Sonoma State 2-0 at the Spartan Soccer Field.

The Spartans recorded just two shots on goal in the loss to the 2002 NCAA Division II National Champions. Chad Smith and Kai Edwards scored the goals for the Seawolves.

On Sunday, San Jose State defeated Seevic College from England 3-1.

The team opens the regular season on Friday, August 29, against Notre Dame de Namur at 5 p.m. at the Spartan Soccer Field.
