Men's Soccer Accepting Summer Camp Registration

San Jose, Calif. - The San Jose State University men's soccer program is currently accepting applications for all four of its 2009 summer camps, to be held at Spartan Field. There are two sessions each of the Spartan Academy Camp and Spartan Advanced Academy Camp, in late June and mid-July.

All 2009 San Jose State men's soccer summer camps will be directed and supervised by Spartan head coach Gary St. Clair. Instructors will include San Jose State associate head coach Ron Smare and assistant coach Chris Behler.

For the Spartan Academy Camp, campers must be between the ages of eight and 12 years old. The two sessions will take place June 21-25 and July 12-16. The cost is $129. The camps run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Spartan Field is located at 10th and Alma streets, across from both Spartan Stadium and San Jose Municipal Stadium, on South Campus, with parking available off of South 10th Street.

The Spartan Advanced Academy Camp, open to campers between the ages of 13 and 18, will also have two session options, June 21-24, and July 12-15. The cost is $159. The camps run from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

All sessions include skills training and small-sided games.
