Men's soccer raises $32,150 at annual golf tournament

The San Jose State University men's soccer program raises $32,150 at its annual golf tournament, auction and awards program held on May 13 at the Coyote Creek Golf Course in San Jose.

180 people participated in the day of golf and/or evening banquet and awards program. Mani Hernandez, the 1968 Hermann Award winner, and Ovadia Mizhari, a defender on the 1974 through 1976 Spartan teams, were given special recognition.

San Jose State University president Don W. Kassing, director of athletics Tom Bowen and former coach Julie Menendez were present at the evening's festivities.
