San Jose, Calif. - San Jose State University Men's Soccer holds its annual golf tournament fundraiser on Friday, May 7, at The Villages Golf & Country Club.
San Jose State Soccer and Peninsula Visa proudly present the 2010 San Jose State Soccer Golf Tournament & Lifetime Achievement Awards Dinner.
This coming fall, San Jose State Men's Soccer will celebrate its 83rd year of competition! All of the money generated from this golf tournament goes directly to the men's soccer program to pay for equipment, travel and other day-to-day necessities that enable long-time head coach Gary St. Clair and his staff to continue to provide opportunities for Spartan student-athletes.
You can help by participating in a number of ways. First, sign up to play in the golf tournament, to be contested as a best ball scramble on the Tournament Course, with a shotgun start time of 1:00 p.m. The event is limited to 144 players. Secondly, if you have something that you think would make a great auction or raffle item, please consider donating it. Lastly, consider one of the many sponsorship packages that are offered. Remember, all money goes directly to SJSU Men's Soccer!
This year's Lifetime Achievement Award recipients are Steve Ryan (1976-78) and Frank Mangiola (1965-68).
