Men's Soccer Announces 2010 Spring Schedule

San Jose, Calif. - San Jose State University men's soccer head coach Gary St. Clair has announced a five-game schedule for the spring season.

St. Clair's squad is set to host all five games on the FieldTurf inside Spartan Stadium underneath the lights on five Friday nights. The slate begins this Friday, March 12, against the University of California.

San Jose State will take on Sonoma State on Friday, March 26, South Bay rival Santa Clara on Friday, April 9, and Big West Conference power UC Santa Barbara on Friday, April 16. UC Santa Barbara, the 2006 national champion, will play host to the 2010 Men's College Cup at its own Meredith Field at Harder Stadium in December. The Spartans round out the spring competitive schedule against the U-20 Mexico national team on Friday, April 23.

Kick-off time for all five contests is slated for 7:00 p.m. Admission is free for all matches except the exhibition against Mexico. Details will be forthcoming as that date approaches. Parking is available in the lots off of South Seventh Street.
