Junior Burgos To Guest On ESPN Deportes Radio

San Jose, Calif. - Efrain Burgos, Jr., who concluded his sophomore season as a member of the San Jose State University men’s soccer program last November, will participate in a live interview on ESPN Deportes Radio on Thursday afternoon, February 19.

The interest was generated by news this week that the coaching staff of the El Salvador national team, will include Burgos, Jr., next month when it announces its official squad list for a pair of critical 2010 World Cup qualifiers, at home against the United States in San Salvador on March 28, and at Costa Rica on April 1.

Burgos, Jr., recently was invited by the El Salvador staff to train with the team for three days in Los Angeles, Calif., ahead of a friendly match with Peru. He ultimately earned a spot on the bench for the February 6 match at the Memorial Coliseum, though he did not see action for his first full international cap.

Burgos will be on the air on Spanish-language network ESPN Deportes Radio toward the beginning of the daily three-hour Jorge Ramos y su Banda program, with Jorge Ramos and co-hosts. Those interested can also tune-in on-line by clicking here.
