Oberholser Still Under Par At Masters

Augusta, Ga.-----For the first time in three rounds at The Masters, Arron Oberholser was unable to score well on the back nine. Seven-under par in rounds one and two, Oberholser carded three bogeys in round three for a two-over par 74 and is tied for 16th place heading into the final round.

The former San Jose State star has a 54-hole total of 215 at the Augusta National Golf Course. Ten strokes behind tournament leader Trevor Immelman of South Africa, Oberholser’s number-one objective is to finish in the top-16 of the 45 players remaining in the 93-player field and earn an exemption into the 2009 Masters.

Heading into the final round of the first major championship of the 2008 season, Oberholser shares 16th place with Vijay Singh of the Fiji Islands and Lee Westwood of England.

CBS TV has final round coverage beginning at 11:30 a.m. (PDT). Live scoring is available at www.masters.org.
